Adam Naughton (he/him) is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and artist researcher living in Aotearoa New Zealand. In 2014 Adam graduated with a BPASA majoring in contemporary dance from Unitec. Adam has since performed in the World of Wearable Arts Awards show and New Zealand Fringe Festival. He particiapted in ATLAS at ImPulsTanz festival (2016) and performed in SINGULARITY at Ars Electronica (2017). With Footnote New Zealand Dance (2017-2019) Adam performed in works by New Zealand and Australian choreographers. He has performed in AQI2020 by Alicia Frankovich and was an interpreter in Tino Sehgal's Yet untitled (2013) at Toi o Tāmaki/Auckland Art Gallery. In 2022 Adam began a Masters of Dance Studies at the University of Auckland, where he became a research assistant for H u m a t t e r i n g (2022) by Alys Longley. In 2023 Adam completed his practice-led research and is currently co-teaching a paper in the dance studies faculty.
